Weekly Week-cap: Spring Edition!

Well, maybe we should go ahead and call a spade a spade and say this is our three month recap! Is it just me or are the months FLYING by?! It is so hard to keep up! But, we thought it was time for an update on what Love Will Foundation has been up to!

Where to start; I just know I will forget something!!

Amanda and I were asked to be a part of the Mental Health Matters podcast with Tom Duff at Saint Louis Counseling! We thoroughly enjoyed our conversation on all things mental health including post partum depression, mental health awareness for all individuals, and what we think it will take to end the stigma! Amanda has also been a busy little bee working on setting up our Shop Love Will site! We are moving away from the social media platforms- don’t worry- you can still follow us on Instagram and Facebook– but we are finding that an online platform via website is more effective in supporting our mission!

Anywho, we digress. Updates on the shop! Last month we debuted the “Donate a Session” thank you gift! Check out March’s! So beautiful!

We also had a GREAT experience with Texas Roadhouse in Wentzville, MO! They hosted a dine out night for us in January and we loved it so much we have another one coming up May 9!! Check out our fundraiser pages for more information!

Next up! We continue to have our monthly Love Will Foundation Presents: eSpecial Needs Siblings & eSpecial Needss Families on the last Saturday of each month! You can find all that information here! We are so excited as word seems to be spreading in the community! Our second meeting’s turnout was phenomenal! We want this to be a useful community group; so check us out here and if you have any suggestions on topics, recommendations for resources or guest speakers, please email our lovely Lyndsey here!

Lastly, our biggest focus at this time is obtaining funding so that we can continue to be a presence in the community! So, if you don’t see us online, we are working HARD behind the scenes. We are working on acquiring counselor referrals so that it is easy to find the help YOU need! But, as always, if you already see a counselor and would like to continue with them, we will arrange financial assistance through them! Our priority is being able to offer this service! We have raised enough funds to donate TWENTY FIVE counseling sessions- just a finalizing a few details and we will be open for assistance!!
